History

Jarmans Solicitors evolved from the old Sittingbourne firm of Winch Greensted and Winch, established in 1864.  It has always been a progressive firm and indeed had the first local telephone number - Sittingbourne 1.  The firm continued to embrace new technology - it was the first solicitors' firm in Sittingbourne to have a computer-based word processing system.  Jarmans strives to maintain its established standards whilst moving with the times.

In 1987 the firm moved from premises in Park Road to its present modern suite of offices in Bell House. 

Barry Bond is the senior partner, having been joined by partners Bryan Slater in 2000 and Sarah Cladingboel in 2008.

The Firm as a whole has the enthusiasm to continue to provide clients with the personal service they want from a solicitors' firm.
