This is known as contesting a Will and, if the tensions or disagreement can’t be resolved through mediation, we engage our Contentious Probate Department.
There are many reasons why a beneficiary or family member might decide to contest a Will. It could be that there are concerns that an Estate isn’t being managed properly or that the Will has been interpreted wrongly.
In some cases, there could be questions about the valuation of the Estate and its assets or a disagreement between beneficiaries. In these cases, Jarmans’ team of Dispute Resolution Solicitors can advise you on your rights and the best course of action to contest probate.
Excellent service here. Needed a one off legal document and they were able to accommodate us the next day. We were given good advice. Highly recommend.
Chris took the time to explain several items and offered some very good advice. I will definitely use them again.
