Our team have always been proud to support local charities making a difference to the lives of residents in Kent so, we when Kerry Banks from Martha Trust spoke to us, we decided to donate to their fundraising.
Martha Trust provides inclusive lifelong care for people over the age of 18 with profound physical and multiple learning difficulties. Their homes in Deal, Kent and Hastings, East Sussex offer a bright, modern, safe, and stimulating environment for residential and respite care. The Trust’s main aim is to ensure that profoundly disabled people can enjoy the most fulfilling and active life possible. They manage this through an extensive activities programme which includes sensory cooking, horse riding, reflexology, and music to name just a few. Martha Trust also has hydrotherapy pools equipped with sound and light systems to provide the 33 people in their care with a complete sensory experience.
